Although it is considered a mild steroid, Anavar® side effects are still possible, especially with prolonged use and if it is used in high doses. In the worst cases, Anavar® side effects may include liver tumors, liver cysts, and liver failure. It may also negatively affect the user’s cholesterol levels and increase the chances of coronary artery disease. Other less life-threatening side effects include insomnia, diarrhea, appetite loss, vomiting, and nausea. Some people may also experience such side effects as acne, mood swings, hair loss, urination problems, and a decreased sex drive.

One of the main Anavar® side effects is liver toxicity. If it is left untreated, such toxicity could be fatal. Some people develop cysts and tumors on their liver, while other have complete liver failure. Signs that the liver may be affected include yellow skin or eyes, dark-colored urine, tiredness, and sudden abdominal or stomach pains.

Another potential Anavar® side effect is an increase in cholesterol levels and heart disease. Because Anavar® may cause the body to retain water, it can lead to heart failure as well. As a result, a doctor will likely monitor both cholesterol, blood pressure, and water retention levels for people using the medication. If a person is exhibiting unusual increases in cholesterol, body water, or blood pressure, she may be told to stop taking the drug.

Some Anavar® side effects affect women in particular, particularly those who use higher doses. For example, some women experience androgenic symptoms such as a deepening or hoarsening of the voice, unusual facial hair, a disruption of the menstrual cycle, and the enlargement of the clitoris. In many cases, these side effects are not reversible.

Men may experience different side effects from women. For example, they may have an erection that lasts more than four hours. Men may also have problems urinating, and they may have swollen breast tissue and discharge from the nipples. In addition, Anavar® may cause men to have a decreased production of sperm, which can lower fertility levels.

Some Anavar® side effects can be experienced by both men and women. These side effects include irritability, insomnia, diarrhea, appetite loss, vomiting, and nausea. Some people may also experience hair loss and acne. For many people, these side effects are only experienced the first few days. As their bodies get used to the steroid, the side effects lessen.

It is possible to have an allergic reaction to Anavar® as well. A rash, swelling of the face, throat or tongue, and itching may be experienced during a reaction. Some people may have difficulty breathing or may become dizzy. In the case of an allergic reaction or any other side effects, an emergency physician or a doctor should be consulted immediately.

Steroids have different effects on everyone and not everyone will have the same side effects as someone else will. This applies to all medication and drugs. Plenty of people have taken anavar and have had great results from it without any side effects, liver toxicity, etc., so when you see these articles that say this steroid does this and that, it's not always that clear cut.

A lot of the problems people get with steroids is usually down to improper dosing and excessive duration. If you smoke enough tobacco, eat enough processed food and drink enough alcohol every day for a solid year, see what happens to your health then.

I am wondering if anyone can tell me if taking Anavar can affect my not-yet-conceived child. My spouse and I plan on trying for a baby, however, he is into body building and claims that the steroids that he takes cannot affect our child. However, I don't believe it and would like some evidence to show him. Any input is appreciated.

I think its just crap to alter your body in any way. You came out of your mum looking like a human, and you should be buried into the ground looking like one too. And as far as humans and steroids, unless you have an imbalance of hormones in your body, you should not take any form of hormone altering medication.

Taking any anabolic compound is going to cause some slight health problems. Increases in lipids and liver toxicity being two of the most common, even with the mildest of steroids.

But as far as anavar goes, its pretty much on the safe side. if you take it correctly (20-50 mg/day) it's great. Very little water retention or estrogen SE are ever seen. You just can't be stupid. don't take too much and you will be fine. The results are great: you don't get massive but you get super strong and it burns fat. what more do you want?

Can anybody tell me about your anavar results? I am a 25 year old guy who's really into bodybuilding, but I can't seem to get the results I have tried a lot of different natural methods, but I still can't get the bulk, if you know what I'm saying.

I really do work out a lot, and I eat all the stuff that they tell you to eat on the web sites, so now I'm thinking about buying Anavar.

I had considered Winstrol, but hearing all the horror stories about Winstrol side effects kind of put me off of that. I had also heard that it's getting more dangerous to buy anabolic steroids, so I was wondering again if its even worth it to get something like this.

So does Anavar work for you, and do you get good results with it? Or, is the whole steroid thing even worth it?

Thanks.

My dad was big into body building when I was little, so I grew up surrounded by talks of Anavar cycles and deca cycles and all sorts of things like that.

My dad never did any of that stuff (that I know of), but just growing up around it kind of put me off it. This was also before you could buy steroids online, so there was the extra added unsavoryness of having to get a doctor to prescribe it to you.

As if that wasn't bad enough just seeing all the crazy side effects that you get from things like that was enough to put me off of using steroids, and the whole bodybuilding thing in general.

I guess to me its more important to have a healthy body than a big one...but that's just me...

One of my gym buddies got into using oxandrolone (or anavar) when he joined a bodybuilding competition, and I can tell you, this article is spot on about the side effects.

He was always in a terrible mood, had trouble urinating, and his skin went absolutely downhill. It really just served as a warning to me about how dangerous steroids can be if you misuse them (or even use them at all).

To me, it's just not worth it. The whole reason I work out is to look good and be healthy, but if it comes down to it, the being healthy part would definitely win out over that extra percentage of muscle -- it's just not worth all the side effects.

What's your guys' take on it?
