The LUXELIFT wedge pillow is one of the best purchases I can remember making. I actually bought it for my husband, who is a terrible sleeper due ... to a combination of back pain, acid reflux, and he snores, which can keep me awake. Right away we both noticed the difference -- less pain, less snoring, and a better night’s sleep.

I often borrow it when I’m working on my laptop in bed, as you can flip it around and lean it against the headboard for excellent back support. It stays cool to the touch and keeps my back supported and comfortable. I also love the little side pocket for storing my phone and glasses.

@ Mona Wong, just wondering, can you put a regular pillow on top of it? I’m looking for a wedge pillow to help with my lower back ... pain but I’d like to sleep with my head on a normal pillow. Read more

Yes, my husband usually puts a small pillow on top of the wedge pillow; the texture ... of the LUXELIFT helps the pillow stay in place. He’s never complained! Read more

This pillow really helped my husband, too! It made such a difference for his sleep apnea and is absolutely worth the money.

I was encouraged to buy a wedge pillow to help with my acid reflux. It’s definitely better than trying to sleep on a pile of squishy pillows that constantly moved as I slept. I really like the material of this one (bamboo cover) and it unzips so you can throw it in the washing machine.

It’s amazing how much my sleep improved with the LUXELIFT. My chiropractor recommended it, and I wish I had tried it sooner. I also tend to get really hot during the night, but this pillow actually kept me cool so I didn’t wake up a sweaty mess. I also really like how you can sleep on your back or on your side with it. It’s such a blessing waking up and not having a sore back or sore shoulders.

I purchased this pillow as an alternative to having to sleep in a recliner after shoulder surgery and I’m really glad I did … I was able to sleep in my own bed and the pillow gave my shoulder just the right amount of support. It’s a firm pillow but the top layer of memory foam feels really great.

I highly recommend the LUXELIFT. I originally bought it when I had knee replacement surgery last April, since I needed to keep my knee supported and keep icing it. It’s very convenient that you can change the height of the pillow from 12” to 8” so that it’s not so much of an incline.

Yes! Being able to change the height of the pillow was a real life-saver for me. Great post-surgery pillow. ... I haven’t needed it, but the pillow also comes with a money-back guarantee and a 5-year warranty, which was a relief since I didn’t know how well this would work. Read more

I’m a fan of the Brentwood Home wedge pillow. I've had good luck with the Brentwood mattress topper so I decided to try the ... wedge pillow, too. It was a decision that I’ve been happy with. I suffer from pretty bad back pain, and this pillow helped me to get some proper sleep and wake up feeling rested. It’s fairly firm and the cover has a pleasant feel to it. Read more

@ Irvin Holland, which height did you go for with the Brentwood? I’m thinking of buying the 12” but I’m concerned it might be too high.

I’ve got the 7” pillow. It’s just high enough for me, but I always use an extra pillow on top. ... I think if you sleep on your side, 12” is probably too high to be comfortable. Maybe the 10” could work for you? Read more

I resisted getting a wedge pillow for a long time because I thought it would be a waste of money ... until a friend recommended the Healthex. It’s generally helped me to breathe easier, sleep more soundly, and wake up less sore. Read more

Similar here. I always thought they would be bulky, but this one idn't bad. It’s not too hard but I would say that it’s probably not a great choice ... for side sleepers (my partner has tried it and didn’t find it comfortable). If you sleep on your back it’s great. Read more

I guess that’s pretty standard with memory foam, though.

I spent a long time trawling through Amazon trying to decide which wedge pillow was best, but I eventually ... bought the Bekweim wedge pillow because it looked versatile. I’m a rather restless person so I often find myself mixing it up to try and get comfortable. It may not be the best option for any single use, but it helps with many-- kind of a jack of all trades. After surgery, the InteVision saved me from having to spend every night in a recliner. It seemed too firm at first, ... but after a few nights either my body adjusted or the memory foam got softer, because it was comfortable after that. Read more

I got the XL and should probably point out that it really is XL … it takes up at least half the width of my double bed, and it’s really long, too. ... This worked for me, but it would probably be too high if you wanted to sleep on your side. The cover really is silky smooth, although this does mean that if you put a smaller pillow on top it may slip down. Read more

If you’re looking for a pillow to help relieve pressure on your spine, you might consider the DMI Leg Pillow. It’s a support for your legs, not your shoulders and head, ... so it doesn’t have the versatility of some other pillows. But it does what it’s designed to do. Read more

The DMI Ortho Leg Pillow is really good for helping with circulation, and it was the cheapest of those on Amazon.

I do wish the cover came in another color besides blue .. it looks a bit too much like a “medical” pillow...
